Quintum’s MultiPath Switches and Gateways fully compliant with Centile’s IntraSwitch

The Partnership between Centile and Quintum enables end-users to leverage the full benefit of IP telephony services while securing convergence between VoIP and POTS users.

Sophia Antipolis, FRANCE, November 20, 2006 - Centile, a leading enabler of next-generation SIP-based services for converged fixed-mobile and multimedia applications, today announced a partnership with Quintum Technologies, a leading innovator in VoIP technologies. The successful interoperability testing between Centile’s IntraSwitch” and Quintum’s Tenor MultiPath Switches and Gateways allows Services Providers and enterprises alike to add best-in-class VoIP capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure.

Quintum's Tenor MultiPath Switches and Gateways interface with the public switched telephone network (PSTN), premise-based IP-PBXs and hybrid enterprise environments, allowing businesses to leverage their existing PBX investment while expanding VoIP technology adoption. The alliance with Quintum allows Service Providers to deploy carrier-grade VoIP services and innovative communication features directly to enterprises requiring analog or digital customer premise equipment (CPE) at the network edge. Quintum’s new Survivable Tenor product also provides a survivable gateway solution for IP-Centrex customers assuring that IP telephones remain operational if the external IP connection is lost.
