Centile’s IntraSwitch coupled with an outstanding knowledge & support team enables Opencentrex to launch Hosted iPBX services

Rapid knowledge transfer gives Opencentrex confidence to migrate to VoIP

London, December 1, 2005 – Centile, a global leader in application software server solutions, today announced that Opencentrex, the French VoIP Service Provider, successfully has launched Centile IntraSwitch for their Hosted iPBX service to the small and medium enterprise market.

The Hosted iPBX application feature server offers basic and enhanced (class 5) calling features for medium to large enterprises. Centile’s Intraswitch is carrier grade platform that delivers scalability, flexibility and reliability based on open standards. Today some of the worlds leading Telecom, Media, Software and IT companies depend on Centile to serve mission-critical enterprise and residential broadband customers.


Centile enables Opencentrex to deliver powerful iPBX applications

Exploring the possibility of launching value added services for the enterprise market, Opencentrex started early discussions with Centile to launch a hosted enterprise service for the SME market. Opencentrex was impressed by the technical support and quick response of Centile's Helpdesk and R&D department, which helped them decide to select Centile's solution. "We choose Centile because we have a clear understanding of their products and R&D roadmaps and have built an intelligent relationship with their technical team. Over time, we have been impressed by Centile's technical support and ability of their R&D team to create new features to adapt to an evolving VoIP market", said Laurent Silvestri, CEO at Opencentrex.

Opencentrex's interesting financial model

In November, Opencentrex launched its Hosted iPBX services. The service is proposed on an ASP model at a price of 19.90 euros per month per user, including:

  • A telephone number per user to receive incoming calls,
  • Extended iPBX services including PBX traditional functionalities and unlimited users per iPBX,
  • CallPad, a CTI application adding user’s functionalities,
  • Unlimited French Local and National calls (except calls to mobile phones),
  • International calls at a competitive price.

The solution allows a customer to eliminate their old PBX and communicate entirely through their Internet line, tremendously reducing acquisition and recurring costs. "Centile's financial model allows us to competitively enter the VoIP market without a large CAPEX investment", said Laurent Silvestri. "With this attractive model, we expect to reach 20,000 users by the end of 2006".
