VoicePad

 a user-friendly Windows-based SoftPhone




VoicePad is a Windows-based softphone that delivers SIP based IP communications and services for PC to phone, PC to PC, and phone to PC calls.

G711, G723, G729 and GSM codecs are supported.

VoicePad is an AS3 Flash and JAVA based application, and comes with an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) allowing easy customization and branding.

End users can self-configure and manage their communication settings in one single pop up interface.

VoicePad enables enterprise and residential customers to place, receive, and redirect calls from anywhere in the world. End users will need to plug a headset or microphone and speakers into their laptop, PC, Mac or PDA connected to a broadband network, including wireless hotspots. Moreover, the self-care tool enables end users to access all Centile's standard and advanced features.

  

VoicelPad is synchronized with IntraSwitch and cannot be run on its own.

VoicePad consists of:

- A fully interactive telephone interface
- A personal and corporate contacts lists that you can manage
- A call history area which you can filter and sort out
- A voice mail history which you can filter and sort out
- A forwarding rules configuration area
- A preference settings area
- A call control area
- A personal status area

To connect to VoicePad, the Enterprise Administrator must provide you with the following information:

- Login (extension number or name)
- Password
- Server name
- Enterprise name
